Danish Jews in Theresienstadt (English)

The story of Denmark and the Holocaust is most commonly told as the story of the rescue of the Danish Jews. A rescue operation that saved almost all of Denmark’s Jews. What is rarely dwelled upon is the fact that not everyone managed to escape. Close to 500 Danish Jews were deported to the Theresienstadt camp outside of Prague.

This educational material consists of the documentary "THERESIENSTADT- Danish Children in Nazi Captivity" (free to watch), historical articles, photo galleries and a collection of drawings by prisoners.
